  1. I want to point out that the BigMac size in both Japan and Korea is smaller than the BigMac in the US. So that as an analogy is not exactly an accurate measurement as the sandwiches are not exactly the same. Also, as far as productivity, keep in mind that subordinates in a company are expected to show up before their superiors and are expected to stay until AFTER those same supervisors have left for the day. So, while top management may get to enjoy a strict 8-hour workday, the bottom of the work pyramid might expect to be on the job for as much as 12-14 hours.
