How about last-minute approval of ballot harvesting? There are plenty of examples that people just brush off. I'm talking NOT about questionable practices during the counting, but the PROCESS, and chain of custody issues that the court refuse to even consider based on the merits. Those changes should NOT have taken effect until the NEXT election cycle. And the excuses used to rationalize them going into effect mid-election are typical of those trying to game the system.

That is the whole point of the executive. In this case it falls under the Department of Labor. The secretary is Martin Walsh and he DOES answer to the president and that Bureau answers to him. Take a civics class dude and lean about how government actually works.

But that does NOT mean they will copy green technology when cheaper dirtier options which have greater payouts are still available. You believing they will switch over is just wishful thinking. While I do agree that we should use biofuel options as alternatives, the cold hard reality is that soy-diesel as ethanol gas is no substitute for sweet crude when it comes to high performance vehicles like Jet Aircraft and Abrams Tanks. There is just no practical alternative that can deliver the high-octane levels required. As for Sea Level rise, apparently you have not heard of Glacial Isostasy and lithospheric rebound. Take a look at the Baltic, particularly in Finland and much of that area was UNDER WATER as little as 100 years ago! As the glaciers in Scandinavia recede, the land uplifts and the oceans actually recede. Same thing is happening at remote arctic beaches in Canada. All in all, your claims blatantly ignore critical data points which reveal fundamentals in your theory that undermine the whole equation. Climate change hysteria is born from the same false theories of Peak Oil. And much like Peak oil, claims of man being the cause of climate change have been around since the 1900s and failed to ever meet predictions.

  18.  @wallace44able  I do travel, because I am on the road and can see the vehicles on the interstate. It is mostly family sedans or minivans on the road, not H2 or H3 hummers. Also, an F-150 is a full-sized truck, not and SUV, so you are being completely dishonest when you imply, they are the same thing. While an SUV nominally has a truck chassis, their performance is radically different. And it is apples to oranges false analogy to compare the US to Europe. For one, Europeans don't commute an average of 15-20 miles to work every day. -Secondly, their population density is an order of magnitude larger, which is why mass transit is viable in Europe, but not in the US outside of cities over 200,000 in population. -Third, unlike in the US, Europeans don't view driving as a right the way Americans do. Americans don't pay $200-300 processing fees to get a license like they do in Europe. It is clear you are only looking at the worst aspects of the US and only looking at Europe through rose-colored glasses. You are NOT debating in good faith, assuming that some such as myself isn't and well versed on the topic as you are, and it shows.

They have changed the inflation index no less than FIVE TIMES in the last ten years to hide how bad it really is. 4 Taxing the rich will never produce the revenues you think it will. Paradoxically lower rates INCREASE revenues. John F. Kennedy proved this. Reagan confirmed it. Trump codified it. Taxing the rich will only cause the rich to move to another country with a lower tax rate. 5 The child tax credit is just glorified welfare. And the purpose is nominally to encourage people to create MORE tax slaves (which is how the government views children who become adults). The system is a giant Ponzi scheme and the only way to keep it going is to create more suckers paying into the system (ie growing population). 6 I agree that Afghanistan was a debacle and there was not point to the waste of money we sunk into it. 7 COVID relief and infrastructure bills is just more graft and corporate welfare under the guise of an emergency. Never let a crisis go to waste.

I was stationed in South Korea for two years with the USAF. Unlike most stationed there, I went out and fully immersed myself in the local culture.   56. No, inflation is cause by more paper money in the system than there is product to buy with it. In this case, the "Quantitative easing" (ie just printing money with nothing to back it ala Weimar Germany or Zimbabwe) programs in conjunction with the Covid stimulus checks put money in the hands of people not producing anything. Then you have the issue of people getting paid more to NOT work than they would by returning to their jobs.
