@seanblankenship5404 No he did not. Hamas has NEVER accepted Isarel's right to exist.
7
@BlockYTCensorship Where in the gospels did he say ANY of that. Cite the book, chapter and passage. You can't because he NEVER said anything like what she said. if anything, Mark, Luke, and Matthew would point out the Woe of the Pharasses which is what she just did.
7
@psycobleach46 It is very much within the rights of the accused to call for a change of venue. It is more common than you think or care to admit.
7
@Bone spurs are contagious That isn't capitalism you are describing, that is OLGIARCY you are talking about. Oligarchy of the powerful elites who support leftist ideology. Capitalism has brough more people out of poverty than any other economic system. If there is a rise of poverty, it is not because of capitalism, but because of the destruction of capitalistic free markets.
7
@rickmcdonald2233 Pot meet kettle. Nobody is buying your hysteria anymore. Your ideology is like the emperor with no clothes.
7
This situation is normal practice. When Kevin O'Leary points out that what Trump did is typical ACROSS THE PLANET, then you have lost the plot.
7
@owenmersk4626 And your preferred sources MSNBC and CNN are funded by actual white supremacists. Calling folks on the right racist doens't mean anyhting anymore because you guys are the boy who cried wolf.
7
@lisal9829 Ironic that a liar calls others a liar. Mr. Gutfeld called her out, yet you blatantly ignore anything that does not affirm your myopic views.
7
And the leftists judges NEVER recuse themselves when they do something similar. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
6
@BlockYTCensorship You can't even cite which gospel as the source. You are ignorant. "I never knew you, begone from me you workers of lawlessness!"-Jesus of Nazareth, Matthew 7:23
6
Indeed. Rather than go with the "angry white man" shtick, the calm and almost whispering voice is much more effective.
6
@motownbiker92 I don't know, maybe the Falklands War between the UK and Argentina? Or how about Desert Sheild/Desert Storm?
6
@dangeroreilly2028 Yeah, he may have won the election (by changing the rules in the 11th hour), but his presidency is going down in flames faster than the Lusitania.
6
Matt Peterson You are correct, he succeeded in dividing us like nobody had before. He succeeded in rolling back 50 years of race relations. He did fundamentally change America.....for the worse.
6
@grahampaterson4368 It show concern because that is the international distress signal. An upside down flag is basically an SOS.
6
It is called REALPOLITK, something that peaceniks have zero understanding. "To prepare for peace, ARM FOR WAR," -Roman slogan.
6
@arthurvandermark5397 They already do that. With term limits the at least have to play musical chairs instead of being 20+ year incumbents.
6
@goldenbear8250 That is not entirely true. The Pardon was for VERY specific crimes for which Nixon was in legal jeopardy once presidential immunity expired. Ford's pardon only covered those, and nothing else.
5
@mattmarzula "I was just following orders" was rejected at Nuremberg. There is an obligation to refuse UNLAWFUL orders.
5
We need term limits for ALL political offices, Federal, State, Local, and appointed.
5
zappadallure Orange man live rent-free in your mind. Touch grass.
5
People don't seem to realize that doing that will encourage Beijing to invade Taiwan and Venezuela to invade Guyana.
5
@albertpeckham8708 What rock have you been under? The GOP sabotaged Trump at every turn. Why do you think they kept siding with the Democrats?
5
Harold clearly doesn't actually care about principle, only power. He doesn't seem to get that the attempt to enforce the gag order is what discredits the court. TO preserve the integrity of the court, the judge should either rescind it, OR send Cohen to jail for violating that same gag order.
5
@lordbread2083 Spoken like an elitist feudal lord. I got news for you: DON'T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU. If you insult people like you just did, it is a sign of desperation.
5
Yes, but it also requires repentance for sin (violations of the law aka the Ten Commandments). Grace requires remorse otherwise it is meaningless.
5
@pirn3676 Sure, because the people who did vote for that monstrosity of a bill were not also bought and paid for. Cheap energy is the fuel that drives an economy. Without cheap energy, only unemployment and poverty exists. ""I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or if they try, they will shortly be out of office." -Milton Freidman
5
@DramaMustRemainOnTheStage Had they left, about half the congregation would have followed them out. It would have humiliated that Bishop and embarrassed the Epicostle Chruch.
5
@roberthitchman5073 Not entirely true. Either the plaintiff or the defense can request a change of venue on account of not getting a fair trail because of tainted juries. It just happens that should the judge deny the motion for the defense, it becomes grounds for overturning a conviction on appeal. The defense can point to the rejection followed by conviction as evidence of bias by the court.
5
@mattfoley6082 "Emergencies' have always been the pretext on which the safeguards of individual liberty have been eroded. Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought." -Fredrich Hayek. Sorry, my rights trump your feelings. Also, the Nuremburg Code is on our side with this. VOLUNTARY CONSENT is what makes this a crime against humanity.
5
@Phileas Frogg Democracy is basically the mob. "Tyranny of the majority". And Alexnader Fraiser Tytler observed that straight democracies ALWAYS elect a dictator.
5
@reliablereindeer If Hiroshima and Nagasaki have proven anything, it is that the fears of nuclear holocaust and nuclear winter were grossly overblown. Incidentally, the US ALWAYS had the advantage over the Soviets in every area except for submarines. That was the ONLY place where they outnumbered the US. But then, their Boomers were not particularly good. The Oscar-class proves how quantity did not equal quality.
5
@ And you only proved you are a bigot. Hate on white men is no longer tolerated.
5
People don't realize that the nature of the ceasefire WILL have an impact on Beijing invading Taiwan or Venezuela going after Guyana.
5
@DigitallySaved Something tells me there is more to the case than what you are citing. In the case of Andrew Johnson's pardon, the SPECIFIC crime it covered was sedition and armed rebellion.
5
@im2tweaked Surely you jest. If you think that allowing the government to kidnap your children from you is acceptable, then you have already lost. When you let the state steal your children away from you, you are no different than a slave in Antebellum Dixie. Staying peaceful at the cost of losing your children is capitulation of a different kind.
5
@zahrans Wrong. That is the myth of the "mutually assured destruction" folks who hate Regan's "Star Wars" missile defense system. JFK offered to remove those missiles (which the Soviets were NOT aware of at the time) to Khrushchev as a face-saving measure so the Soviet Priemer could go back to the Politburo and claim he walked away with a victory.
4
The previous administration gave them all to China, so what are you complaining about?
4
Here is my proposal. 20-year terms staggered every four years on the mid-term cycle. Limit the court to 5 justices, and you have one SCOTUS judge pick per presidential term. I only see this getting pass via Article V Convention of the States.
4
@GUSplatoon And thank you for proving my point. The left can't meme. "The Lady doth protest too much, me thinks," -Queen Gertrude; Act 3, scene 2; Hamlet by William Shakespeare.
4
How about the rest of Congress? You act like Trump invented lying while ignoring that the elected officials you voted for lie for a living.
4
Keep in mind that serial killers often get their start butchering the neighborhood pets. With that in mind, what does that tell you about these people?
4
So no condemnation of Hamas using human shields in flagrant violation of the Hauge and Geneva Conventions? No criticism of Hamas using schools and hospitals as ammunition dumps? Spare us your moral grandstanding. You would never last 5 minutes in his shoes.
4
@ConnieA1262 Along with all of the J6 political prisoners. This pardon happy behavior is just going to make it easy for Trump to grant clemency across the board.
4
I hope you chaps over in Jolly old England can get out from under your government soon. The Tories are cowards and Labour is Bolshevick. Kind of like here in the US, I fear.
4
@grahampaterson4368 Because claims that it is a sign of racism, or the like is completely divorced from reality. His wife has as 1st amendment right to free speech and her exercising that right is NOT Alito's responsibility. To claim it does is the logical fallacy of guilt by association.
4
Jury nullification is within the power of the jury. I'm surprised the judge allowed it to stand. Most judges will dismiss a juror if they give even a hint of considering jury nullification.
4
@Jason Except, not everyone does benefit from it. The only people who do are the very 3%ers you are complaining about. Government doesn't do anything right except take money from the working class to line the pockets of the plutocrats. Government spending isn't the solution, it IS the problem.
4
@psycobleach46 You have failed to disprove anything I have said. Caveats as you have laid out is not prove of negative. And it is pretty clear that it would have been completely appropriate that change the venue, a power that even a judge can automatically invoke. But I see you still blindly trust in people who pervert the law for a living.
4
@frankpaya690 So the Korean War in 1950 wasn't part of the Cold War? Vietnam was not either? You seem to be watching too many Hollyweird revisionist history. Nixon used the Sino-Soviet Split between Mao and Leonid Brezhnev along with Nikita Khrushchev in a gambit to benefit the US against the Soviets. The problem is, Red China never had any intention of being our ally. They simply wanted to replace the USSR as the patron of world communism. And they cleverly used us to succeed in that endeavor.
