  20. Actually, his mother Wendy should be the one going after them first. She has a MUCH stronger case with regards to the lies about her helping him transport a firearm across state lines. Viva Frei and Robert Barnes dug into why her potential cases are very robust. Unlike Kyle, she is NOT a public figure and so that "exemption" does not apply. Further, she is MUCH more sympathetic than most of those folks in the media which will play well with a jury.
