@michaelalston2877 Seriously? Machin has been more consistent about protecting coal miners than Sinema has been at protecting the Southern Border.

@albertpeckham8708 What rock have you been under? The GOP sabotaged Trump at every turn. Why do you think they kept siding with the Democrats?

@pirn3676 Sure, because the people who did vote for that monstrosity of a bill were not also bought and paid for. Cheap energy is the fuel that drives an economy. Without cheap energy, only unemployment and poverty exists. ""I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or if they try, they will shortly be out of office." -Milton Freidman

I hope you chaps over in Jolly old England can get out from under your government soon. The Tories are cowards and Labour is Bolshevick. Kind of like here in the US, I fear.

@Jason Except, not everyone does benefit from it. The only people who do are the very 3%ers you are complaining about. Government doesn't do anything right except take money from the working class to line the pockets of the plutocrats. Government spending isn't the solution, it IS the problem.

@lesmowhomever174 That is not an argument, that is an ad hominin personal attack and a sign that you have no valid argument. “I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.” ― Margaret Thatcher

@andrewy4761 More like the last of the John F. Kennedy Blue Dog Democrats. Right now, most would prefer 1 blue dog over 20 RINOs.

@Jason Ah yes, the classic totalitarian strawman arugment. You realize you are making the exact same claims as Mussolini? "What is the harm of losing your freedoms so long as the trains are running on time?" Yeah, no, we can have most of what you claim comes from the government done better by private investors. Government doesn't do anything right. Government is just a legal form of organized crime. "Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else. Every one is, more or less, for profiting by the labors of others."- Fredrich Bastiat
