I would rather we keep everything north of Sacremento and East of Central Valley. I do NOT want to give up Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Death Valley, and Joshua Tree National Parks.

@travismcafee6769 No, it will not rip open to create the "Strait of Cortez", but I do agree that it would do the rest of us a favor if it did. Or at least just everything West of Central Valley did. The only folks I feel for are the Asians. They are the ones keeping Kleptofornia afloat, which is ironic considering that governor "Moonbeam" Brown didn't want any of the Vietnamese boat people in his words, "ruining his state" back in the 1970s.

Part of the problem is that she has always fancied herself as part of their liberal clique, back to when she was on Channel One News in the mid 90s. But I agree with you that I HOPE she realizes that they don't care about her, only that she agrees with them like a lemming.

No joke. The rise of third and fourth wave feminism has created a group of entitled females (rather than women) who think they don't need men, or the men should be subservient to them. The irony is, this has actually contributed to the rise of white men marrying non-white women as well as Hispanic women. Indeed, since the landmark case, Loving vs. Virginia, the increase in interracial marriage has been largely due to white men marrying outside their race/culture.

@middlefinger1565 No, she is not. She was on CNN, OWN, and a few other blatantly leftist rags. But unlike most of them, she still subscribed to the old school rules of journalism. I would hope that this made her realize that she is not part of their clique, and that they only care that she is Asian and that she is in 100% lockstep with them.

Heh, I had a similar experience being exposed to East Asian culture as a result of my father being in the Navy's Pacific Fleet (USS Elliot). My parents separated when I was in kindergarten so mine was a broken family with each of my parents effectively single for most of my childhood. Like you, being exposed to Asian culture and values left as lasting impression and so when I joined the Air Force, I very quickly volunteered for a tour in Korea. It was while I was there that my wife first made contact with me. She is Chinese-Indonesian and oddly, was already very westernized despite having never traveled outside of her country until she married me. It is our shared blend of Eastern and Western values as well as faith in Jesus Christ that has kept us together despite some of the wild fights we have had.

@middlefinger1565 I would say old school liberal. Those can be reasoned with. Progressives have never been rational. Unless you think the socialist policies of 1930s Europe were in any way rational. Socialism and "progressivism" have always been ideologically conjoined twins.

OfficerTatum, you are correct about a woman leader needing to be a "bad mamajama". History shows us that women rulers are really great, or horribly incompetent. There is no room for mediocrity for women in positions of power. Great women rulers: Queen Tamar of Georgia, Boudica of the Celts, Queen Seondeok of Shilla Dynasty Korea, Queen Nefertiti of Egypt, Queen Elizabeth of England (both). All of them were "Iron Ladies" to borrow the moniker of Margaret Thatcher. You don't find many other examples like them in their nation's history.
