@oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368 He could have been either a Tony Starke or Bruce Wayne. Instead, he chose to be a Norman Osborne, Lex Luther, or Victor van Doom along with Bill Gates.

Yeah, those are the same people who told us that to save the trees, we should use plastic bags instead. Paper bags are biodegradable.

@jeremysmith54565 Reminds me of the Monty Python skit from Holy Grail-Swamp castle. "I built a castle. It sank into the swamp. I built a second one, it also sank into the swamp. I built a third castle. It burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. I then built a fourth castle which you live in now."

We had that in Korea as well. The Sky looked as red as Mars.

That is what George Carlin said all those years ago. "The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas".

Too many damn comic supervillains and not enough Tony Starkes or Bruce Waynes.

@Thichaou The skit I referred to was genuinely funny, as dry British humor often is. You, like a typical prog, are not. That is why you can't meme.

Indoctrination and grooming have similar roots and goals.

Newcomers to his channel may not be aware of the fact, which is why he repeats it.

@strayandrongo7461 As for Starlink in Ukraine, that may have been the case early on, but that is just ONE think he has done. And something tells me that the Ukrainians quickly ditched it after his abominable comments.

@jeremysmith54565 As I said in my first post, it come from Monty Python's Holy Grail. When Sir Lancelot goes to Swamp Castle.

@jeremysmith54565 No worries. Glad to have pointed you in that direction.

Yup, the hubris of man to think he knows everything. Unintended consequences. Someone once said that for every action, there are at least three unexpected ones, with at least one being VERY bad for the person responsible.

Indeed. The Chinese basically refined and perfected the Japanese Fu-Go Ballon Bomb.

@rugbeaters1 Howard Huges was an eccentric, not an evil man. His OCD made his harmless to others, but a great danger to himself. At least he was willing to provide some assistance to Project Azorian (recovery of K-129, Red Star Rogue) as one of his last acts.

@theoc007 Who thinks that capitulating to totalitarian despotism is a good thing? If you would rather live on your knees as a slave rather than die on your feet as a free man (or woman), then you do NOT deserve the rights you now currently enjoy. Yours is the words of Nevile Chamberlain who chose dishonor over war.....and will still get war.

Bad leadership has always been the problem for Asia, particularly China. Good people, bad governance.

Ironically there is a word in Chinese that means "gold and lacquer on the outside, rot and corruption on the inside".

In part because the government is going to take everything after 90 years. There is no incentive to build things to last.

@strayandrongo7461 So you are a shill for Putin's aggression, and you believe that peace under the bootheel of a dictator is preferable to liberty. And funny you mention the Minsk agreement because Putin NEVER intended on honoring that agreement and instead had every intention of conquering the entirety of the Ukraine. IF the Ukrainians agreed with you, they would never have had put up a fight in the defense of Kiev. They would have simply rolled over and capitulated as Putin expected. Their actions completely repudiate everything you claim.

@MrGrim-yr8sg Hyperbole is not making your point. The nuclear threat is grossly overblown by the media and the critics. The fears of nuclear winter are based on junk science. Scientists and skeptics like Michael Crichton have demonstrated the fallacies in those arguments. Bringing to the point, claims about preventing nuclear war shows a gross misunderstanding of what actually would happen in a nuclear arms exchange. Most of the power of nuclear weapons comes from the FEAR of their use, not the actual effect. Once used, they lose most of their geopolitical power. Case in point, Putin's used of conventional weapons against civilian populations.
