Fourth Reicht indeed. It would seem that the EU is becoming a Soviet Union of the West.

There is still question surrounding improprieties in the Polish Elections. Perhaps a foreshadowing of what is coming?
12
Fourth Reich indeed. A Neo-Soviet Reich.
11
@anthonycicero6102 France benefited, but it is a stretch to claim the UK did. The EU has always been a Franco-German Fourth Reich.
10
Indeed. They are acting more and more like the old Soviets.
8
Neo-Soviets, are they not?
3
@anthonycicero6102 UK keeping its own currency? Put down the Bourdon. NOBODY got to keep control of their currency in the EU. And the UK being worse off is simply a matter of opinion. Labor loved it, but most of the rest did not.
2
Probably. These people would burn everything around them to ashes if they cannot hold onto power.
2
@0utcastAussie Why should Putin bow to EU or NATO when the EU is basically turning Western Europe into the Neo-Soviet empire that Putin wants?
2
The neo-feudalist global elites believed they knew better than the "unwashed masses". Now their chickens are coming home to roost.

I know who will win: The Algerian Muslims.

@no-oneinparticular7264 Marie Anntonette has entered the chat.
1
Agreed. Putin ironically is getting the Neo-Soviet empire he always wanted, only he isn't the one running it.
1
@David-rv6dn Put down the Bourbon, you are drunk. BTW, Vichy France under Philippe Petain were enthusiastic collaborators. But you don't want to talk about that, do you? Don't care to address the RAMPANT antisemitic history of France because it is easier to throw stones at the US. Marquis de Lafayette was too good for you and you betrayed his legacy.
1
Because Western media doesn't want the Communist take-over broadcasted.
1
Their betrayal of Marquis de Lafayette's legacy and memory is why I have little sympathy for France.
1
Democracy doesn't mean you get to let another country DICTATE policy to you. That is the crux of the Euro-Skeptic argument.
1
They simply add zeros to bank accounts. Not much different than what Weimar Germany tried to do to settle its accounts. And we all know what happened next.
1
Considering that these people are those who would burn everything around them to ashes rather than let go of power, I would say it probably is a threat.
1
@anthonycicero6102 Cherry Picked data. Truth of the matter is that the EU has NOT been particularly good for the UK. Turns out that the oil and gas industry was hurt by the EU's green policies which stifled them. And don't get me started on how the EU allowed weaker Southern European nations to enjoy largess off the backs of productive Northern European nations like the UK and Denmark.
1
@anthonycicero6102 Nice rainbows and unicorn argument. There is no such thing as a free lunch. SOMEONE has to pay for it.
1
Interesting as Pluto hadn't yet been discovered them.
1
Far right and far left are two sides of the same coin. Horseshoe Theory.
1
I would say politics is in at least six dimensions as I can count at least that many axis issues. But the power mongers love to use the false choice dilemma when they deceive people into thinking it is a linear spectrum.
1
And the Vichy were enthusiastic collaborators with the Third Reich. Macron thinks he is DeGaulle, but he acts more like Philippe Petain.
