And I appreciate you acknowledging that. Please share this with your fellow progressive liberals and maybe we can do as President John F. Kennedy advocated: "Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future."---Speech at Loyola College Alumni Banquet, Baltimore, Maryland, 18 February, 1958.

@Definitelynotjewish Because "progressive liberals" today have "moved beyond JFK", or so I was told by Hoosier Democratic Party power mongers when I tried running as a Democrat in Indiana during the 2014 primaries. And yes, the power mongers did have him take out by Lee Harvey Oswald. The FBI and CIA at that time used him as a patsy just like they did with the Garland Texas shooters.

@deistormmods I claim no credit, I simply rely on the wisdom of that great Democrat leader. And he leaned on the wisdom of Tommy Jefferson. Jim Webb in 2016 could have been the next coming of JFK but the party conspired to have him squelched.

@kristopherjon6496 The DNC was the party of obstruction during both Bush and Trump so you have no room to be throwing stones when you live in a glass house. And the DNC paying lip service is nothing more than empty rhetoric, also known as posturing, grandstanding, and virtue signaling. That is neither honest nor respectable. Your problem is that you are NOT holding both sides to the same standards. You are in fact NOT holding them to account but apologizing. That is called hypocrisy. You are part of the problem by engaging in the very hyper-partisan tribalism that President Kennedy was chastising. "The Lady doth protest too much, me thinks," -Queen Gertrude; Act 3 scene 2; Hamlet by William Shakespeare.

@fortisrisuspater That is always the claim by progressives, that "it want's done right, we will do it better this time!" and proceed to make the exact same blunders. At a certain point, one has to simply accept that some ideas which SOUND good are in fact disastrous when implemented and will never deliver on their promises. Another word for that is honey-trap.
