@ajstevens1652 they were so sure that he was a troublemaker that they were willing to risk some rioting just to be rid of him when all he wanted was for fair treatment of African Americans

@princemwamba5230 I would have to say a good chunk of them didn’t. I don’t know if it was just in the south where most of these civil rights stuff was going on or if there were northerners who weren’t the biggest fans

His racist views were a motive for sure. I don’t doubt that but I also believe he targeted MLK because he was important
