  1. Truman was a Capt of artilary. When Macarthur did his post dismissal tour,it fizzeled out after about 2 weeks. He had to cancel the rest of the tour. Also,his legacy is sever;y tarnished because of his blunders in Korea,his insubordination to Truman,and his handling of the Phillipines at the outset of WW2.
