  1. About 15 years ago,a German became Pope. I was standing in line at a truck stop in western Virginia. In the newspaper rack was a newspaper that blared the banner "His name is Benedict'. I pointed to the paper and asked the woman in front of me."Whats the first thing that comes to mind when you see the name Benedict?' She replied "Arnold." The male diesel clerk didn't find that comment informative or amuzing. Supposedly,Peggy Shippen bragged about how she fooled Washington with her temporary insanity act. Because of this,Ive always wondered why anyone would live in Shippenberg,PA or go to Shippenberg College.
