I read a book that came out about 10 years ago about the hostage crisis. 2)after the shaw died,the low level soldiers involved in holding the hostages started to question why the Americans were still being held hostage. 3)Supposedly,the Iranians of today;especially the young,are embarrassed about the whole hostage episode.
