  1. Not true. The Putin episode ("Kroshka Tcahes") was on January 2000. The show worked for 2 whole years after that, and produced 114 more episodes. The last episode of "Kukly" was on December 2002. Look up Wikipedia article "Куклы (телепередача)". Sorry, but your mom's cousin is a liar. Good writer though. He left the show before it ended. It lost popularity because 1) new scriptwriters were not so witty, 2) new politicians were not so famous and less recognizable to the audience.

  2. Насчет Путина и Собчака - правда. Есть видео, где сам Путин об этом говорит, есть видео, где жена Собчака более подробно об этом рассказывает. Собчак был под следствием, но ему нужно было лечение. Путин сказал, что поскольку знал, что Собчак невиновен в том за что его расследуют, то помог ему тайно уехать.
