And that's why I am a software engineer! Nah... it just had been a "luck" that my passion is worth the investment quicker than others.

IGNii7ED - Some Random Shit Lads : Yes if WE program them. If they are able to change themselves, so THEY will program them. More smarter than us though, that's a debate that is already growing with current technologies.

As others said, none verbal communication is also important, but... there is a solution. Maybe not still 100% ready, but there is one. Using AI to create a deep fake would help out. So, the judge and potentially anyone involved in the trial process would only see a realtime video of the person that his mimic and gesture are preserved, but not its real appearance. It would always be a generic person, always the same one. This would give best of both worlds (not seeing the person and seeing it).

Those are great counter points, but... baby steps. Not knowing in advance what knowledge people have shall always turns into no knowledge. Perhaps, when someone gets to know a subject, (well me) he/she could tell him/herself that the "teacher" shall have tell the whole "truth" at once. But sincerely, most people needs to learn using "lies" to focus on one aspect. Example: We learn in primary school that a division by zero is not possible. Well kind of but not always (see the Hospital rule that I learned far more later in school). And that is one example. The whole picture of a financial project shall always be considered using a cash flow and not forgetting inflation and, and, and. But at the same time, in reality, even people who know these techniques usually don't do that.

I think the best answer is: "That's a tricky question".

Incredible! First time I realize a video as more (way more) views than subscribers.
2
Wow! This video ending was so powerful and salivating. I can't wait for the next one.

Really great video and really great series. I would like to submit a suggestion: when talking about parallelism, I think you would have been a bit easier to follow with tick/frame number. Still following you from years. Continue your great work!
2
How sad? That's the question!

@MattGodbolt Even though I am more in the high level software side of the force, I really appreciate those videos. Always worth to listen to you!

If I receive an email with an attachment having LaurieWired in it, I don't look at the extension and I open 😋💕 Though this time (hahaha, as if I did it with the one back in the days), I would not only click due to beauty, but intelligence too!

I would like to hear about the more advanced SQL injection. It is the first time I hear about that. What a great video! You are heroes of communication in our field.

The allusion to Alanis Morissette Ironik song was really great and made me laugh a lot. Good job!

@SuperSadist1 Didn't I say "kind of". An other example would be the impossibility of a negative square root which is possible using the imaginary number. Anyway I did not want to teach math here. Just giving an example of one step at a time using some "lies".

V for Vendetta is next door !

Really good idea to have a "private" video that we can only access by having the link! Great one Brady!

Wow! That's such a great experiment. Explained me a lot about myself.

Could we say here : more than the sum of parts ?
1
My suggestion : Structural password. Easy to remember, not easy to crack if your rules are enough strong. A structural password is : "Construction of a password using rules". Simple example (though not enough secure) : DOMAIN_NAME + 'P@ss' which would give 'youtubeP@ss' for a youtube login. I would suggest using at least : a dependent part (which varies for each login) and a static part (which is personal).

Such a great one!

Totally baffled! I knew it could take time to get to the source, but at that point. Wow! You are so great!

I had to watch this video before continuing digging into the banking malware. I want to build one myself. Hahaha! That's a joke. OK! Next will be last for tonight. You are more addictive than... [complete the sentence with...] 😋

Made some times I didn't share a video, but here I do!
1
Wow! Not just a list, but real details that count! Next video as soon as I have time. So lovely that you shared us a bit of you singing :) I really like when I would like to raise a point, but I wait and finally hear it later on. Here, I was thinking about AndroidStudio that is overkill for reverse engineering. And I would go further, you even mentioned that it can be great for beginners. Well-balanced between seniority information, great level of details and overview, more factual based than opinion based. Just another wow!

Magnifique! Sublime! A bit of French is always good to describe a perfectly realized video. Even some "imperfections" are in fact perfect because it shows that our job is not always the happy/easy path. Next in a minute!

Another watched!

Definitely, I did not thought of, but... yes, I am in love! Never thought it could be that good looking at assembly code.

I am not influenced by the recommendations because I only look to videos in my subscriptions. Am I alone? So I never missed a single video of Veritasium.

Hi Laurie! Continuing on listening all your videos. I am a senior software engineer, but I rarely did real reverse engineering. Mostly, it's in my head. Hihihi! Thank you for those videos of quality. They will inspire others and I like it! BTW, maybe because I am from Quebec, but when you pronounce Ghidra, I am hearing and extra R in the "Ghi" part. So for fun, I searched how to pronounce it and so much people were asking for that, that NSA itself have an entry in their FAQ for this: I cannot put the link, but it is in there FAQ of their GitHub repo. It did not stop me from ending the video. I like the reminders you stick over. This is such a great technique when teaching. OK! That's enough for this one, I'll finish this video.

Another amazing video!

Impossible to add my comment. It is always deleted. Well, I can't figure out what is not accepted. To summarize my message: I updated manually such a NAS.

This one seems to be kept, but not this one. If you want to see what I did, look for djon2003 dns323.

This one seems to be kept, but not this one. If you want to see what I did, djon2003 on one of the biggest repositories storage online.

Can I write anything else?

The main finally seems to be kept, but not this one. If you want to see what I did, dns-323 on one of the biggest repositories storage online.

Sorry, I am tired to try.
1
Almost to it! In a matter of days I will have listen to all your videos. Such great quality is a gift to us!
1
You will have a comment from me for each of your videos. Still on going!
1
Bottom up! I will reach the top!
1
@lauriewired Wow! That's a complete answer!

I am about to switch from high level to low level... I said about, hihihi! Continue on!

Another point I would add: fake profiles. As the numbers are partially known that there are more men than women, what would you do if you create such an app? Even not considering the app creators, a fake profile can be created for a lot of reasons, like identity theft. I have an idea to solve most of these issues, but really complex to implemeent.
