  1. Ukraine is being invaded......so they are defending their homeland, meaning almost every citizen will be motivated to fight, rather than lose their country to russia. Also, every missile, rocket, drone and artillery shell that hits a civilian target motivates those....who normally wouldnt want to fight, but once their wife, mother, sister, brother or child gets killed....they NOW are extremely motivated to fight against Russia, even if they were vocally against fighting before.... And as far as your russian dead/wounded numbers, in June 2022 Putin put into law (signed a decree) that the families of the russians who died in Ukraine would get $68,800 US dollars equivalent, and the wounded woud get $41,300 US Dollars equivalent in roubles....so if you get the figures from russian finance as to how much has been paid in death and wounded benefits you can divide to get the exact number of dead and wounded that HAVE been paid for.....it wont be up to date, but it will give you an accurate conservative number of dead and wounded. Russian casualties that are estimated just by obituaries was 47,000....but the reality is most russian dead are left in the trenches, so they arent being treated as dead...only missing....to save russia money. I think the death benefits paid out proves russia has lost a lot more than most people beleive.
