I feel as though an opportunity was missed to discuss triple entry bookkeeping (By Yuji Ijiri). Centuries ago, civilization witnessed a renaissance thanks to double entry accounting, and to understand where we are now, it is very possible that bitcoin is the practical invention of triple entry accounting. This is an extremely exciting time to be alive!

@thewatcher3564 actually, bitcoin over lightning network is capable of doing over a million transactions per second and is faster than xrp's 3 second transfer time. So there really is no need for xrp.

Bitcoin is the global bridge asset for cross border payments, instant with practically no fees thanks to lightning network and strike. No other crypto can compete on the liquidity.

@thewatcher3564 apparently moneygram realized that Ripple's XRP isn't really that efficient, they are breaking up the partnership.

Nah, for many of us Bitcoiners, buying bitcoin is the cashing out step. If we want dollars, we borrow against our bitcoin. We never sell our bitcoin.
