I am American and I believe western media is biased. The the Sri Lanka case. Sri Lanka could no pay back the debt on the port the Chinese built. So china just converted the debt to equity (99 lease on the port) and the are running the port at a loss. The port is still servicing the economy and china is not not forcing Sri Lanka to cut spending in other area to pay back the loan. The loan has been extinguished and converted to the lease. Try to learn about the workings of finance rather vilify and blame.
