  42. Yes sir I started out my career when they were phasing them out and they were on everything, old bud suicide split rims, I worked for my great uncle in the early 90's and a guy that I worked with was a big guy who was around 5'10" and 260 pound one ring didn't seat and it come apart broke his arm and threw it and him 14 feet in the air made a imprint in the roof of half the rim. That tool is awesome I will say that all the years they have been around, I wish they had one 37 years ago lol. We still don't have one. I do have a one with a great tri point set up for pulling off frozen wheels of with chains and a big bolt that goed into a adapter that is different sizes that fits inside the axle bolt pattern inside the bolts and T hooks on 2 chains you put in one set of holes and pull with a inch gun. Then move to the next set and do it again if 5 hole wheel of 2 like you have tighten spray smack with a sledge and repeat it keeps pressure on it instead of sledgehammering it trying to get off works great. Awesome job and you saved someone who is out there and is guaranteed. Over tighten will do it to. Like the anti seize and if you are using the hub pilot wheel set up spray the wheels and torque 475-500 ft pounds. Hey you do fine I have done them like that for decades pound and spoon bars. Put a drop on the nuts also they call them wet torque washers. Never had one come loose. We wire brush the rust off the wheel face like you said that rust even if the thickness of a business card will cause vibration or torque spec issues. Loosen from the rust and miniscule crack between one sat of lugs will cascade around eventually and then get to that.
