The injuries and enduring of bombs on both sides were devastating and the having to go back out after being wounded and enduring the healing and having to go on after being severely wounded is a testament in its own. I have been severely wounded twice and I know personally what it is like having to try and operate like a good soldier that has never been wounded. Your never the same and your body is never the same either. Having to grind on wounded, healed to a certain extent, and back out into the fighting is only harder and more grueling than the first or second time. The only thing that makes you any better or safer is the experience you gain by seeing combat and having some experience with what is coming and what might or is going to happen is your only advantage over those who are new or doesn't have much combat experience.
