@GeneraalAmsel everything that went through the Soviet Union went through Moscow and they were the all important hub that everything was distributed to the entire front everything that wasn't manufactured in the Ural mountains was made outside of Moscow, Leningrad, and The 12 little plants at Stalingrad. Everything that was used by the Russian army came from Moscow or it's suburbs like Tula, etc. Everything else was sent to Leningrad or Stalingrad via rail or river via Moscow.
