I agree with you as always because of the poor planning in the south and not having enough reserve panzer divisions in the Stalingrad area and no infantry divisions to go with it left them in a very poor tactical position that the Soviet army was easily able to push the weaker Romanian infantry divisions aside and with the small amount of reserve divisions along with the sixth army not paying attention to what was going on around and behind them left the said army doomed especially when they didn't and probably couldn't send anything of substantial size and firepower along with the sixth army lack of leadership to save itself was left doomed and starving because the air supply was a joke only dropping say 1/5 of what they needed for said defensive progressive hold out and was running out of ammo, food, and fuel/medicine to deal with the wounded, cold, and the dead.
