It's a fascinating period which, despite its legendary nature, i can't help but see connections in its stories that reflect immortal human patterns. A question i will ask today is, How do you think social and political developments would have continued from the 14th-15th centuries if the Gwelph factions majorly surpassed the Ghibellines and were able to establish a new order in that region which would continue into the ideals of the 18th and 19th centuries?

Recently I left a comment on a video saying that I was reluctant to observe the other videos about catholic tradition due to the vast subset of knowledge necessary to understand the concepts laid out. This video, in part, approaches the solution to that, insomuch as I can now search for more of the content in this series without being driven away by my own ignorance. +1

Despite all my conversations with 'history enthusiasts', ive never heard or spoken at all about the continuity of significance regarding the cultural dominance of the Roman Church into the 18th century (nor of its physical domains and their management). The education by 'popular culture' and standardized schools, has failed us. A pitiable state we exist in.

I much appreciated the acknowledgement of civilizational interconnectivity; that each military aspect has a set of political (and social, economic, territorial) aspects that go along with it in order to sustain the whole system. Question for today, would you ever (if you deem it accurate enough) be willing to use AI generated models or pictures as visuals for your videos? The professor gave a list of options on which we are to do a research paper and a presentation. (I chose Charles Martel) Because of your excellent teaching, I had a good enough basis of concepts to start my research, but I was wondering if you have ever done a video about the 'Codex Epistolaris Carolinus', the series of letters between the Popes and the Frankish Kingdoms. I have done some light searching, but I cannot seem to find a translated and transcribed file of the compilation. If you could help me understand where I can find it, or better, if you have already made a video about it which I couldn't find, then either would make me very happy. Also any other sources that you think would be useful would be invaluable. Please enjoy the rest of your week. You deserve it. 🎉
