@michaelzhuhovitsky3889 well taxes makes sense right.

Horribly inefficient. Hydrogen for vehicles is plain dumb.
1
@Quantum-Bullet There is nowhere near enough surplus to make enough hydrogen. Especially if you realise that all the future battery electric vehicles (cars, trucks and busses) will be stealing that surplus away when charging at night before hydrogen factories would get the change to use it.
1
That doesn't matter.

No you do not need green electricity first. Electric driving is always cleaner than diesel, even if coal is used to produce the electricity.
1
First, turn your caps lock off idiot. Secondly, driving electric is the least polluting way to transport goods and people. Nobody claims it is 100% unharmful. It simply is the best way to do it.
1
Everything you said is wrong lol.
1
Still, even if we decide to travel a lot less we still need clean transportation for when traveling is really needed.

Meh hybrid was cool 20 years ago but doesn't really make a decent dent in fuel consumption. Fully electric is the only sensible thing to do now.
1
@yalz302 Driving electric is ALWAYS cleaner. Even if the electricity used is carbon heavy.
1
Wrong. Driving electric is always cleaner than gasoline or diesel. The grid gets greener every year and even now it is already better to drive an EV. Also, the grid is nog Tesla's responsibility.

@vintageb8 exactly
1
Well, pretty safe actually. And much less polluting than burning insane amounts of petroleum products.
1
That doesn't matter. Still cleaner than burning oil in each vehicle.

That not true most of the time. What do you propose instead?
