@ComeJesusChrist Yes, exactly that. Despite all these things EVs STILL produce less CO2 and other emissions during their live. ICE cars are simply that inefficient.

@ComeJesusChrist It is clear you are not interested in facts. There are plenty of peer reviewed research reports easy to find that compare life cycle emissions of EVs and combustion engine cars. This subject has been extensively covered for years. It is not necessary to keep relying on personal assumptions, all the data is out there.

@ComeJesusChrist Overall emissions of any EV are far and far lower.

@ComeJesusChrist I didn’t cite them because: 1. Comments with URLs almost always get deleted 2. They are very easy to find. Just spend a few minutes reading reports on ‘Lifecycle emissions EVs’ via Google. The reason I am not responding to your numbers is because there is so much more to the story which influences the comparison on the side of the ICE car that you are overlooking.

@ComeJesusChrist Youtube doesn’t allow links. Just search for ‘lifecycle emissions EVs’ and you will find all the details.

@ComeJesusChrist I can't cite anything as URLs are not allowed. Just search for 'Lifecycle analys EVs'.

@ComeJesusChrist Like I said, the reports are very easy to find. YT doesn't allow me to post links.

@ComeJesusChrist 'The Underestimated Potential of Battery Electric Vehicles to Reduce Emissions' by Auke Hoekstra is a great start.

@ComeJesusChrist You don’t know how to read reports?

@ComeJesusChrist The report is in fact peer reviewed as you can see on the website of the Eindhoven University for example. Your personal experience with a certain fuel consumption is irrelevant. It is the average numbers that count. Obviously for the exact same reason you could find a Model 3 owner that claims even lower energy consumption figures. But even if the Mercedes would average 5.5 L / 100 km the EV would still win, it would only take a little longer to break even. Also, this report was only one of the many examples of research that proves EVs produce fewer life cycle emissions and to show you that there is much more to it than just the average carbon intensity number of the electricity produced.
