  1. I, being part of a minority, have no strong feelings towards my EU member country, I feel more connected to the EU. Still, the EU is definitely not a country. We Europeans like to experiment with crazy stuff. Take NATO, there's no other military alliance like that.

  2. I don't need the EU to be a country to be a proud EU citizen. We are bound together by our shared goals and worldview, it's a unique political and economical entity, I don't think there's a label for it.

  3.  @dragonjay7277  What do you mean? Of course you can. There are a few member states that are not yet in the Schengen area otherwise there's just a sign that here is the theoretical border.
