psyneur - no because by the time you feel like you've had enough you've already ate too much. Try eating slowly and try to learn how much food your body needs for various activities (not an easy thing to do btw, you need a lot of experimenting). For ex. right now in here the weather is very hot, so I generally eat less than say during winter.

I second the fasting thing. Just because food is so easy to obtain it doesn't mean you should never ever be hungry. Sometimes I skip breakfast and on some saturdays I skip lunch too not because I'm on some diet or something, just because it feels good.
