I still don't get it, why is: "The F-16 escorted the drone out of RO airspace" better than "The F-16 shot down the drone violating the RO airspace"? The optics of it certainly isn't.

My theory so far has been that Ukraine wants to flank the Luhansk frontline through Russia but I what Anders just said sounds even more likely. In any future peacetalks freezing the conflict at the current frontline will be unacceptable for Russia too.

In the last 22 months Russians have captured Bakhmut and Avdiivka and a few small villages, and this is all while Ukraine received limited support with a lot of restrictions. Pathetic.
18
@LPVince94 WTF are you talking about dude? I am from a former warsaw pact nation, we used to live in poverty and oppression then we revolted, ditched Russia, a little later join the West and now we don't live in poverty or oppression. It's that simple.
11
@davidadamson9105 In Putin's dreams. He also though he could take Kiev in 3 days.
9
Thx for this, I in fact was wondering what was going on.
7
Hard to win any kind of war if you send toilet thieves to the frontline.
7
Lots of people believe the Kyiv feint BS so yes, Putin can definitely create a story that makes a defeat sound like a victory.
5
@garethmartin6522 My condolences that you have to lie for a living.
5
Watch the video again, but this time listen.
5
Good point, although I wouldn't be surprised if Putin was bluffing and they were already low on personnel. That's what they did last time too.
5
To translate Anders' video into internet language: - Trump: here's my peace plan - Russia: no thanks - Ukraine: no thanks - EU: no thanks - Trump: pikachu face
4
Well, almost. The Pacific friends have been a big help so we need to be able to also help them in case China does something stupid.
4
The video I was waiting for.
4
Nobody has the crystal ball but I value Ander's thoughts very much.
4
Too bad we didn't hear Anders' personal opinion. I think this war must not end with Russia getting any terrority at all, even temporarily. Everything, the Donbas, Crimea should return to Ukraine or no deal.
3
Gave the like right after I've opened the video bc I knew it was gonna be informative.
3
But what is the thing that Putin can't destroy with an Iskander but if he destroyed it with a nuke would restore Russia's superpower status? I can't think of anything.
3
Thank you for the video.
2
The video I've been waiting for since yesterday morning. Thank you.
2
No amount of firing top commanders will resolve the clusterfuck Russia is in.
2
@cinghialemannaro76 He never said the counteroffensive has stalled, in fact he said Ukraine has still enough energy, and you're conveniently forgetting about the 3rd frontline, just recently a Russian general died (I know they've shon some old footage of him and now they are trying to make people forget about the whole thing) together with a lot of his officers in the HQ attack and the Black Sea fleet has to retreat from Sevastopol. I call that successful counteroffensive.
2
Russians also think the US is reliant on Russia for the oil. Seems to me they think Russia is the center of the universe.
2
Great points, as always, thank you very much for the update.
2
Meanwhile the Russians don't give a sh*t about what's legal or not, they do whatever they can.
2
Thanks for the video, I knew all the pieces I just never put together the whole Satanist dirty bomb Russian bs. Btw Putin wants a pause since July so I don't see why Ukraine would give it to him now.
2
Thank you! I wanted to say the same things but nobody would listen to me.
2
The new geopolitical reality is that Russia has already been demoted to a regional power and if they continue on this path they will be a nothing.
2
Leaked documents show Trump's peace plan is: abracadabra war stop!
2
So, based on what Mr Katz said a massive protest would solve Russia's problems but there's no way to organize it.
2
I can't wait for these updates.
2
Always a pleasure to watch these videos. But what can that guy do? I suppose better tactics, but how much would that help?
2
There is still a long way until 98%, but yes, the Russians can now reap what they didn't sow.
2
Aaaaaaaaaaaah, trying to make Ukraine a failed state, okay, I understand now what's happening.
2
TomislavPuklin-wz1bl Whataboutism has always been normal in Russian propaganda.
1
Whenever an event causes a brown line on Putin's pants he declares that a red line.
1
How about an EOTS? From what I've heard the F-35's has ridiculous ranges. Are these drones warm enough?
1
Only Anders and Vlad see the world as it is. I mean on youtube, talking about this war.
1
What I speculated was that their offensive was not going well and they knew they needed some changes and this is the best they could come up with.
1
You mean like airboats? I don't think those things can carry a lot of stuff.
1
Hi Anders. Don't worry about it, int's not surprising that your analysis didn't come true by the letter, Putin fancies that his unpredictability makes him dangerous, but in reality it just makes him an idiot. Every decision he made was the wrong one, even when Russia was winning in a limited scope during the 2nd phase, even a blind could see that that kind of warfare is unsustainable. Great military strategist my ass, a crazy old fool.
1
I wish I knew about your channel back then.
1
Putin is too old to see the demographic crisis, so what does he care.
1
I wonder how many subscribers @anderspuck had when he released this video.
1
I think this is a good lesson for NATO too, against Russia we probably wouldn't have airsuperiority. If you can belive DCS Russian R-37 and R-73 missiles from Sukhois can do a lot of damage and even though an S-400 is not as good as a Patriot it would still force an F-16 to dive. I'm curious what an F-35 could do against it but were not gonna find out this time.
1
@andrzejbarcelonafrlk6416 But I suppose those were HARM missiles.
1
@Dave102693 Let me quote Tsar Delirius Loseronus after his 3 say special military operation has failed: "wah-wah-wah".
1
@GordianThoughts It were the circumstantial evidences that said the 3 days, of course Russia would never just come out and say "we will take Kiev in 3 days", but the leaked speech, the unprepared supplies and the dress uniforms found in BMPs sent to Kiev tell a different story. And please don't bore us with the Ukraine runs out of weapons and people and Russia can't run out of weapons and people myths. Ukraine is a country of 44 million, it's not gonna run out of people, and neither will Russia. But the Soviet stockpiles will run out eventually and just because there is political squabble in the US, they are not gonna stop supporting Ukraine, these are just political games between the Republicans and the Democrats. And the US is not the only supporter of Ukraine, just recently we've learned about the South Korean artillery shells. You can drink all the copium you want from your vodka bottle but Russia still hasn't achieved anything since July of 2022 in Lysychansk.
1
Nothings says military superpower like relying on insurance scares :face-blue-smiling:
1
Are you on drugs?
1
The only reason Trump says all this bullshit is because people listen and react.
1
Too bad, I really enjoy listening to Anders Puck Nielsen's talks.
1
I wonder if things would've been different if Ukraine got the ATACMS sooner and could devastate the Russian airfields in time. Actually I wonder about a lot of things, like why Russia had the time to build the Surovikin lines, why aren't Apaches defending Avdiivka, why hasn't the F-16 trainig started earlier, there should already be a Maverick rain above the frontline.
1
What I would've asked: how does he justify continuing the SMO considering more Russians have already died than he originally intended to save.
1
Personally I don't see a difference between these two scenarios, but I also don't run every NATO country.
1
What better way to attack Ukraine then sending half your weapons ahead of time in custody for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Then, when you want to start your war, you only need to send your soldiers and ask back the weapons. Totally makes sense.
1
So the lesson is: watch Anders' videos or you will be invaded 😄
1
This whole 4D chess fake mutiny BS is the next Kiev feint, don't fall for it!
1
Here's a 3rd way of looking at it: the pipelines were destroyed and somehow a theory blaming the US has popped up with a story that only makes sense if you don't think about it too much. That's exactly what Russia has been doing so far, blaming the US with half-truths for their own misery.
1
And also, US aircraft carriers don't rely on tugboats.
1
As Ryan McBeth said, Americans are the baddies now.
1
Still, I wonder if the Russian population is plain stupid or just afraid to speak up because you can't just change the narrative every other month.
1
This video was only 14 minutes long, it was clear and concise and I could easily understand Anders' point even though I'm not a geopolitical genius. I hope Trump has at least a 14 minutes attention span.
1
@RazvanMarc What laws? I'm not aware.
1
The hole Putin is digging for himself is getting deeper. Recently I've heard an anecdote from the ak guy which applies, he was presenting the RPD machine gun and while he was showing the open bolt trigger he said the trigger's job is just to get out of the way of the bolt until you're out of bullets or political prisoners 😂
1
IIRC Vlad Vexler said last year that the international order is 17% still functioning, I wonder what will his next estimation be.
1
I think someone wanted to ignite the flag but it's made from some flame retardant material. And then quickly the propagandists had a meeting: "what do we say?! what do we say?! I got it, attack on Putin"
1
Ukraine wants independence, Russia wants a vassal Ukraine, what is there to negotiate about?!
1
@jonathancowan2251 I don't really understand your comment, the Ukraine war is very much not a frozen conflict.
