@uheikon1240 I have to completely agree with the original comment for 2 reasons: a) motivational speakers can only motivate you for a week or two after that you fall back to the dig you dug for yourself. Like the guy said, motivation has to come from the inside. b) I've tried the nofap thing for a few weeks, didn't feel any different. I think the nofap thing only helps if you were doing it for pshychological reasons.

Whoever said that money can't buy happiness has never played with airsoft gbbrs. But kidding aside that's just something poor people say to make themselves feel better. You know, like how people say "you'll burn in hell for this" when there's nothing else they can do about it. My parents were poor but I've been able to climb out of it and I'm so much happier these days.

@NICULL You're only 16 so don't stress about it. If you don't become this complacent person from point nr. 2 hobbies will find you. I can tell you that I love cycling, airsoft, tinkering with my car, fixing stuff around the house, creating little softwares for personal use but that doesn't help you, your hobbies are part of you and at 16 you don't know yourself.

Another wise man, Richard Dawkins, said that there's no such thing as evolving backwards (in other words evolving towards a predefined goal). We're just adapting to the environmental conditions and if we hit a dead end we go extinct. But I won't blame anyone for calling that "evolving backwards".
