@blackenedblue5401 "it's the business class who'd fit the bill of children of working class parents". I don't understand what that sentence means. Do you mean 'foot the bill', as in, 'pay for'? If so, you're saying that the cost of college loan forgiveness is paid by the 'business class' (presumably, the upper-middle income groups). But everybody pays tax, including the working class. Some of their money will go to paying for those loans. The main point is this: People with college degrees on average make much more money than those without. Why should those with lower incomes help to pay for those college loans?
1
@blackenedblue5401 Yes, that is the question Chomsky wants to answer, but it is not the question Aaron Mate actually asked. Aaron Mate asked if Chomsky was in favor of loan forgiveness. Chomsky did not answer that.

@grazsarducci7477 Or he may just have a different understanding of the situation than you. To declare him 'a tool' because of that is too dismissive. You also didn't present any argument why you feel this way.
1
@grazsarducci7477 "He also visits people in their homes, stays for dinner". So does Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un. These visits are usually accompanied by a TV crew and broadcast to the masses.
1
So what if he visits people for dinner. You and I do that too, I'm sure. And what is that supposed to be evidence of? What good is it that a leader shows himself as a 'man of the people' if he fucks up the country in the process?
1
@grazsarducci7477 You seem to have a very romantic view of Syria and its authoritarian dictatorship. My view if different.
1
@grazsarducci7477 If the Syrian government is so benevolent, one wonders why the people rose up in revolt. Perhaps they were just bored at the ease and comfort of life under the Assad leaders.
1
@grazsarducci7477 "Abdullah Issa, the 11yr old beheaded by the State Dept funded al Zinki white helmets". That is irrelevant to the question of Syria's government shortcomings.
1
@grazsarducci7477 "Or the boy, Omran Daqneesh, the same jihadists grabbed". Also irrelevant to the topic at hand, which is the competence, of lack thereof, of the Syrian government.
1
@grazsarducci7477 "Abdullah was kidnapped". Equally irrelevant. I'm not going to entertain your attempts to sidetrack the discussion. You are clearly opposed to USA and anti-government forces. I understand that, but that is not the topic under discussion.

Who are the puppet masters?
1
@frontliner9799 How can we stop him?
1
@frontliner9799 "we’re all Fked it’s game over in our lifetime". Well, in that case I'm just going to carry on as before.

Are you saying that Useful Idiots is secretly manipulated by government? How can we know?
1
@kidrengo Ok, so manipulation only occurs if some of the presenters may have worked for the govt. Got it, thanks.
1
@kidrengo In what way?
1
@kidrengo That's not really an answer, but ok, let's leave it there. You've had several chances to insult me, and hopefully that gives you a feeling of satisfaction.
1
@kidrengo Agreed. I'm generally quite cheerful.
1
Swift BMF Yes, I copied it from my reply to the other, full length Useful Idiots video from a few days ago, the one about comedy in China. This clip above is from that video.

@americaisdyingslowly "Who is Dick Jacobsen working for?" My name is Peter, not Dick, or Richard. I work for myself, importing alcoholic beverages into China.

Ouchwitz Summer Camp LLC "he's full of sheet". Can you be more specific? Perhaps present a counter-argument?
1
Ouchwitz Summer Camp LLC Ok, I see what you're about.
