  3.  @renemartin5729  You may not know this, but the Saxons in 'Anglo-Saxons' were Germans. There's an entire state in Germany called Saxony. Some of the Anglo-Saxons were Vikings from Scandinavia. 'Anglo-Saxon' has always been an exonym, i.e. a term used by outsiders, never by British people themselves. Nowadays, the term is mostly used by Russian and Chinese nationalists as a slur.

But let's not forget that over the last 40 years, we have also taken in around 15 million refugees/migrants from outside Europe. Is there any non-western region of the world has has done anything similar? No, because they are a lot more racist than we are. A lot.

  8. Hawaii is not on an atoll. Pacific islands based around volcanos won't get inundated for many centuries, or millennia. But the states built on low-lying atolls will, and relatively soon.
