Of all the Tesla crashes that have been publicized in the USA and China so far, I don't think a single one has been shown to be due to Tesla hardware or software problems. Maybe this one is different, who knows.

@wgh Perhaps they are not, but that is why the government investigates. These investigators don't just take Tesla at their word but will require evidence.

China takes these types of incidents very seriously and will investigate thoroughly. They have done so at other Tesla crashes. In no cases have Tesla been found to be at fault.
