I met an Afghan shop owner in Europe. Had a nice conversation. Toward the end, he told me that the Taliban is the best thing to happen to Afghanistan, and that we should expect Afghanistan under the Taliban to experience rapid economic and social growth in the near future. I told him I was skeptical but that we could talk again ten years from now.

@mudshovel289 I don't want people to know which country I'm from. Nevertheless, your belief or lack of belief is entirely up to you. Telling me you don't believe me isn't going to make the experience any different.
