  1. There are millions of Americans who agree with Yonden Lhatoo on Assange, and who speak out about it. Yonden's is but one voice of many. The US prosecution will assert that Assange published classified information. The defense will likely claim that Assange did not steal that information himself, and that it can be published because it is in the public's interest, which would make it legal. Time will tell what the outcome will be.

  2.  @zebraimage  I think that depends on how the journalist got access to the information. American journalists exposing American war crimes have happened often, and it probably will happen again. There's no shortage of criticism of the US government from within the USA. That's how we like it in the West.
