I'm not a user of TikTok (or 抖音), but generally I think it's a bad idea to ban social media apps, whether they are TikTok, X, or Facebook or any other platform. It doesn't matter that TikTok is mostly used for silly dances, or that X and Facebook are sometimes used to make hateful or political statements. These apps help a large number of people to make a living, they help spread ideas around the world, and while they may sometimes be considered 'harmful to society', these so-called harms should be resolved through even more conversation and debate, not through bans.

@Palexite It's not only politics, it's also culture, artistic expression, product marketing and sales. My point is that we shouldn't silence people just because we don't like what they say, or how they express themselves.

@CoolNumber1 I don't want ANY social media banned: TikTok, YouTube and others, none should be banned. Am I making myself clear now?
