  1. I hadn't even heard of this train accident, which seems to have happened 6 days ago (on an unmentionable date). Looks to have happened in Guizhou Province. In fact, I can't think of any accident involving high-speed trains in China since the 2011 Wenzhou accident.

  2. Answering myself: There was at least one accident in 2013, killing 4. But I also learned that the China Railway Corporation has a policy not to publish information about deadly accidents . No wonder we don't know about them.
