Wasn't it only 100 years? 1842-1949. Are you suggesting that China is still being humiliated under the leadership of the CPC?

@pepelepew1227 Ah, you include the Qing Dynasty as part of the 'humiliation'. That is not an view I often hear in China, though I agree it makes sense. In those years, many Han Chinese were vehemently opposed to the Qing government, for hundreds of years, but it is not often discussed nowadays.

@ChinaVictor. I love beef! A big, juicy steak, a well-made hamburger. It's one of the more popular meats where I come from, though not quite as popular as pork.

@pepelepew1227 No, just read some books in my free time. I've had an interest in Chinese history and society for a long time.

@pepelepew1227 I don't consider myself an expert on much of anything, but we can all educate ourselves to increase our knowledge. One thing I never waste time on is attempting to insult others. Why you do it, I have no idea. Perhaps you get a lot of joy out of it.
