  1. Despite the occasional ship wreck, Europe receives over 1 million legal immigrants per year, and over 1 million illegal (essentially asylum seekers) immigrants every year. That adds up to about 0.4% of Europe's population per year, fully mitigating the natural decline in births. In fact, despite low birth rates, Europe's population will likely continue to increase for the foreseeable future. As for cultural clashes between people, those are problems, but problems that can be solved and that even appear to solve themselves over time. We see this tendency in North America and Australia, too.
