Consumer boycotts rarely work for very long. They can be effective right after some 'scandal' has unfolded, but people eventually will return to buy what they like to buy.

Since China's McDonalds and KFC source almost all their ingredients in China, a trade war would not affect their prices.

@lucianowillemse8244 The BDS movement is mostly in America and makes up a tiny percentage of the total consumer base. As for Israel losing money because of the BDS movement, I'd like you to present any data to support that. If you can't, it's nothing more than speculation.

@everbright2011 Certainly, there has been an explosion in local coffee chains. Personally, I prefer M Stand, but Starbuck's is also a regular of mine.
