  1. India does have some catching up to do, but they're also installing solar at high speed. India installed capacity: 39 GW China installed capacity: 302 GW In 2015, China had 44 GW, so India is 6-7 years behind.

  2. There are regularly reports in the Western media about China's massive installations of both solar and wind power. At least a couple of times every year.

  3. Australia has already learned. Installed (PV) solar power capacity: -Australia: 0.91 kW/person -China: 0.22 kW/person So they're not doing so bad down under.
