@nerdstudent8852 You've written this elsewhere, but where is the evidence for that? The only reason that would happen is if cat meat is cheaper than pork or chicken, for example. But pork and chicken at the factory gate is exceedingly cheap, and that's even after it's been butchered. I find it hard to believe there's any economic incentive to swap cat for pork.

@schoolingdiana9086 Show me the evidence! People who don't know the first thing about meat production think that if you grab an animal off the street, you can make money by selling it to a restaurant. That's ridiculous, except for in very poor countries. In most countries, the possible profit from doing that is just too small. Pork, chicken, beef even, much too cheap for 'roadkill' to able to compete with it on the market.
