  1. It's also much more dangerous to walk on the streets. Globally 1.3 million are killed each year in traffic. But those stats (yours and mine) don't really help the coal miners. Only a strict enforcement of safety regulations will do that. There is still much room for improvement. It's better to enforce regulations than to come later with a large rescue team.
