That happened quicker than I thought, and the tariff is a little higher than I thought. Well, well, there aren't that many Chinese EVs sold in Europe to begin with. It'll be interesting to see how China will retaliate. European wine and alcohol? Dairy products? Those are my first guesses.

Most European car brands sold in China are made in China, so you can't really have tariffs on them. Besides, most of them are joint ventures with Chinese state-owned companies, like SAIC, FAW and others.

The only major European EV producer in China is VW. They produce their EVs in Anhui's Hefei and Shanghai's Jiading.
