  1. Evergrande is asking for a USD32 billion (CNY 230 Billion) cash injection to get through its restructuring and back on a profitable path. If you were a potential investor, would you take a gamble on a real estate developer which already has $340 billion (CNY 2.4 trillion) in debt in the hope that it might return to profit some time in an unknown future? It's a pretty risky bet for not much return.
