  1. It's tough for Millennials who have lived their entire lives with virtually zero inflation. From 1975 to around 1985, most of the western world had 8-10% annual inflation. That's when I grew up, and I just thought that was the way the world was, just like the Millennials today. Shifting production of most products to emerging economies are responsible for the 0% inflation we have been through the last 25-30 years. The downside is no secret to anyone: Loss of thousands, or millions of low end jobs in the west. Now it looks like we're turning around: More manufacturing jobs coming back to us, but in return we are probably going to live with high inflation for decades to come.
