  2. I think a main problem with working in the porn industry is that while its products are hugely popular, the industry is still somewhat stigmatized. That rubs off on the people working there. By the population at large, it is still considered a 'not quite appropriate' industry to work in, so the people working there become isolated, making friends with each other and being shunned by 'civilians'. This is a social problem that we need to talk about much more. There should be room for everybody.
