These crimes you and others mention were already illegal before the National Security Law. That new law is designed to prevent speech that the government doesn't like.   14.  alon3369  Well, if I have to be offended, I am offended by the original poster saying "Bloomberg has shown its true colour by inviting such leftist on show", because it reveals the poster's belief that a news media should only have one political stance, that there IS only one correct opinion, and that allowing opposing opinions is somehow in bad taste. I guess that's not offensive, but it is highly annoying and frankly, contemptible.

  18. Yeah, those numbers don't seem to add up. Take a Toyota Corolla as an example: It goes around 33 mpg, or 9 gallons for 300 miles. This would mean that a motorized lawn mower uses 9 gallons in one hour. Imagine the size of the fuel tank on the lawn mower if that were the case. Plus the weight: 9 gallons weighs around 80 pounds.

Speaking to the cocoa farmers will also be good, but not all Africans are cocoa farmers. They could just as well interview a cocoa farmer from Ecuador, which grows 9% of the world's cocoa.

Maybe she just forgot about all those events.

"they are members of BRICS, who seem to have Associates who own 75% of available resources." You don't have to be a member of BRICS to buy those resources. BRICS members will happily sell those resources for a good price. You also don't have to be an EU member to buy things from the EU.

  27. Because inflation is very low. And inflation is very low because manufacturers produce more than they can sell, so they have to keep prices very low. Public employees have had their bonuses cut, meaning less spending power. Reduction in investment, reduction in loans, increase in savings. All these are contributing factors in keeping inflation very low.

In 1986, Japan added 2 times China's entire economy to its GDP in a single year, and the year after, Japan added another 1.3 times China's economy to its GDP. It didn't tell you anything about what the future would hold. You can't use today's GDP numbers to predict the future. And what's wrong with showing people building lanterns instead of EVs? Should those images be banned? Why? And then this stupidity about 'filters'. Here in Shanghai that's often what it looks like. Overcast weather is common in China, creating a grey look. It's just what the climate is like here. Stop crying!
