  1. Well, on average, Americans of Chinese descent tend to move quickly into the upper middle class. By quickly I mean within a generation, not just in a few years. These people do it for their children's future.

  9. Set fire to the US flag? Sure, protesters do it all the time. Setting fire to a US flag is an act of free expression that is protected by the constitution. In most other free countries, it is also not a crime.

  10. There is much less gun violence now than during the 1970s, 80s and 90s. In general, America is safer now than at any time in history. Check the homicide statistics for yourself.

  17.  @Eddy-Cool  I think that's a little too optimistic. People in Europe have hardly any idea of what is going on in Pakistan, nor do they know who Pakistan's leaders are. And outside of the UK, nobody knows anything about cricket or who the main cricket stars are.
