God, I'm tired of the high-school-project level of these Visual Politik videos. I don't think I can continue watching much longer when I keep getting disappointed over and over. The standard is just too low.

I like the budget backdrop of this studio: A laptop, a monitor, both hung on the wall, an old-school stage light, two speakers, an acoustic guitar and a palm tree.

Visual Politik: "Have you ever heard of Oman"? Visual Politik, a channel that aims to educate us on geopolitics, believes that its viewers have no interest in the world.

@iwankazlow2268 Well, my criticism is more that only rudimentary research go into these videos. Most of the time is spent on a historical overview, which should be done in just a minute. Everyone can compare the quality of content between VisualPolitik and fx. Caspian Report. It's in a whole different class.

A channel based in the UK (where they speak English) that purports to be about geopolitics and which cannot pronounce place names like Ankara correctly or geo-feature words like archipelago is a sign of sloppy research and preparation. EDIT: The words keep coming: Frigate pronounced as 'free-gayte', fait accompli as 'fate-a-comply'. This is horrendous! Does the host have expertise in any field? Hair styling?

12:52: Income inequality is a fixture of every developing/emerging economy. It is unavoidable and simply a part of 'growing up'. As an economy grows richer, income and wealth inequality may/will even out slowly.

@SuperLusername Haha, great reply!

@tsartomato Yes, but I wouldn't call Russia a developing country. More like a stagnant country.

What a terrible, disjointed video! Was it about Turkey's development and use of laser weapons, or was it about: -Turkey - Russian strategic competition? -Turkey - Greece strategic competition? -Turkey's NATO membership? -Albert Einstein? -The science of lasers? -Coup attempt in Turkey? Who knows.......

Interesting. According to Wikipedia, his name used to be Feroze Jehangir Ghandy, so still pretty close. Would have been better if he had changed it to Candy. Or Grandy, or Granddaddy.

It's a shame that VisualPolitik's videos are increasingly just a rundown of the history of the topic under investigation. It's not much different from looking up Wikipedia. VisualPolitik, please be more rigorous in your research and tell us something we don't already know.
