I am one of those (apparently rare) people who will see people who are unusual/out of the norm/different and ask them about it: Why are you like that? How did it happen? How does it affect you? Are you able to live with it? What is your life like? I'm curious and I find most people don't have a problem with that as long as they see I'm not trying to mock them.
